WATERTOWN, S.D.–Sixteen members of the public got a first-hand look at the work members of Watertown Fire Rescue (WFR) are trained to do on a daily basis.
Fire Ops 101 was put on by the local firefighters union Saturday at Fire Station 2 near Watertown Regional Airport.
WFR Lieutenant Craig Kruse explained what the particpants were expected to do…
Kruse says for the participants….
They plan to continuing doing Fire Ops 101 every few years…
Participants included Watertown Mayor Ried Holien, City Manager Amanda Mack, Councilmen Colin Paulsen, Bruce Buhler and Glen Vilhauer, County Commission Chairwoman Brenda Hanten and South Dakota First Gentleman Bryon Noem.
