Watertown Fire Rescue dispatched to Wednesday night grass fire

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to a grass fire Wednesday night.
The call to 1410 38th Avenue Northwest was called in around 6:30.
The fire started in a burn barrel and spread to a nearby pasture where between a half-acre and three-quarters of an acre burned.
The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished. Only natural vegetation was burned.
