Watertown Fire Rescue called out when car sheers off power pole

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Several agencies were called out Sunday afternoon on a report of a vehicle that crashed into a power pole on Watertown’s north side.
It happened just before 4 p.m. in the 2000 block of 19th Street Northeast.
Police and Fire Rescue arrived to find a car that had sheared off the power pole.
Fire Rescue medic crews assessed the driver for injuries, and crews remained on the scene until the power pole was stabilized by Municipal Utilities.
The name and condition of the driver were not released.
