Watertown Fire Rescue called out to garage fire

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Fire Rescue was called out to a garage fire last night.

The fire at 20 7th Street Southeast was reported at 8:30.

When crews arrived, they found a two stall detached garage with smoke coming out of it, but no flames showing.

Entry was made into the garage and flames were quickly extinguished.

The garage sustained minimal damage and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

WFR was on scene for about an hour.
