Watertown falls at day one of the CWS Classic

OMAHA, N.E. (GoWatertown.net) – Watertown Post 17 would fall to Lincoln East 10-2 during day one of their trip to the Creighton College World Series Classic.

Will Engstrom, Drew Denzer and Braedon Zaug each connected for Watertown’s three hits in the contest. Engstrom and Denzer each collected RBIs. Andrew Czech pitched three innings allowing seven hits, six runs, five earned, walked four and struck out one. Chase Christianson pitched two and a third innings on the hill in relief.

Watertown (11-24) will play two games today at the Creighton College World Series Classic against Dickinson (Noon) and Eden Prairie (2:30PM).
