Watertown earns victories over Sioux Falls Lincoln

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrow boys and girls basketball teams got their season started with wins Friday night against Sioux Falls Lincoln.

The Arrow boys would down the Patriots 63-56. Drew Norberg lead the scoring attack for Watertown with 28 points and five of five shooting from the line. Dawson Schmidt tallied 14 points and Kale Stevenson added 13. The Arrows got it done from the line going 20 of 22 on the night.

The Arrow girls would hold on to beat Sioux Falls Lincoln 33-30. Maggie Heesch would lead the way with nine points. Maddy Rohde and Abby Bramer would each contribute eight.

The Watertown boys travel to Pierre Saturday, December 12th for a 7 p.m. tip. The Watertown girls come back home to face Harrisburg Thursday, December 17th. Games will be broadcast on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net/Arrows.
