Watertown cleans up at Britton-Hecla Tri

BRITTON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown would best both Huron and Britton-Hecla at the Britton-Hecla Gymnastics Meet Thursday.

Watertown would come away with a team score of 145.55, Huron 123.65, and Britton-Hecla with a 123.50.

Brooke Bollinger would come away with first-place scores in the all-around (37.80), vault (9.50), bars (9.65), floor (9.60), and second place on the beam (9.20).  Jaidyn Dahl took home first on beam (9.20), second in the all-around (35.45), fourth on the bars (8.75), and fifth on the vault (8.95), and floor (8.55). Natalie Benson would come away with a second-place finishes on the vault (9.25), floor (9.25), and third on the beam (9.00). Dani Miles took third on the vault (9.05), and floor (8.60). Londyn Sycks placed fourth on the vault (9.00), and floor (8.55). Trinity Hodorff placed second on the bars (9.20). Dawson Briggs brought home third on the bars (9.00). Kinsley Van Gilder placed fourth on the beam (8.90).

Watertown heads to the Brookings Invite on Saturday, January 9th.
