WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Baseball Association is excited to announce the creation of the Watertown Baseball Hall of Fame.  The purpose of the hall is to restore and rediscover the history of Watertown baseball.

The inaugural class will be honored as part of the WBA’s Hall of Fame Weekend scheduled for May 14th and 15th, 2021.  The weekend will kick off with the WBA’s First Pitch Outing Fundraising event on Friday, May 14th at North Shore Chophouse and Banquet Hall.  The festivities will continue Saturday, May 15th as inducted individuals will be honored during the Watertown Post 17 versus Rapid City Post 22 doubleheader at Watertown Stadium.  More details on the weekend will be released closer to the event.

The WBA Hall of Fame Committee is asking for help from the community.  If you feel there is a deserving player, coach, volunteer, board member, umpire or contributor, visit WatertownBaseball.com to download a nomination form.
