WATERTOWN, S.D.—The weather in eastern South Dakota will take a noticeable turn for the worse Friday and  into the weekend….

That’s National Weather Service forecaster Scott Doering.

The Watertown area is under a Winter Storm Watch from noon Friday until 6 p.m. Saturday.

With the potential for blowing snow looking likely, there’s a chance that could be upgraded to a Blizzard Warning.
