Watertown and Deuel defend gymnastics titles
ABERDEEN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown and Deuel both defended their crowns on Friday at the team portion of the 2020 South Dakota High School Gymnastics Meet at Golden Eagles Arena in Aberdeen.
Watertown would be tops in Class AA with a team score of 145.925. The Arrows would score 37.900 on the vault, 34.875 on the uneven bars, 35.225 on the balance beam and 37.925 during the floor exercise.
Deuel would take home the Class A crown with a team score of 144.050. Estelline/Hendricks would place third with a 133.225 and Milbank fifth with a 128.125.
The Cardinals would take the crown with scores of 36.225 on the vault, 35.250 on the uneven bars, 35.650 on the balance beam and 36.925 during the floor exercise.
The 2020 South Dakota High School Gymnastics Meet continues Saturday with the individual portion of the meet.
