Walz delivers State of the State address; says Minnesota is bracing for storm of “epic proportions”  (Audio)

ST. PAUL, Minn.–Minnesota Governor Tim Walz gave his second State of the State address on Sunday night. He addressed the state from the Governor’s Residence in St. Paul, where he was in quarantine after being exposed to COVID-19.

He said the state is, “bracing for a storm of epic proportions.”

The Governor’s address focused on Minnesota’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. He also introduced the slogan #OneMinnesota.

Governor Walz urged people to stay home during this time….

Walz ended the address by saying Minnesotans can tackle even the toughest of challenges and that we would come out better on the other side.

“Minnesota, the state of our state is strong. The state of our state is resilient. The state of our state is united. Thank you, stay home and stay healthy, Minnesota.”

As of Sunday, Minnesota has reported 935 cases of the COVID-19 virus, and 29 deaths.
