WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Regional Airport is coming off its best July ever.

That information was shared at today’s Airport Board meeting.

There were a combined 2,653 passenger boardings last month between the two airlines–SkyWest and Denver Air Connection.

Airport Manager Todd Syhre told the board progress continues on the new terminal building…

Back to passenger boardings, Syhre says advance bookings are looking good into the fall….

The airport and its consultant, The ArkStar Group, will begin a digital marketing campaign aimed toward pheasant hunters soon, with the message that they can fly into Watertown rather than using airports in Sioux Falls or Aberdeen.
