DHBB: Wadsworth sisters lead Hamlin to victory

HAYTI, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — As heard on New Country KS93, the Wadsworth sisters scored in double figures as number four Hamlin gave Florence/Henry its first loss Tuesday night, 57-40.

Kami Wadsworth lead all scoring with 23 points, going nine of 15 from the field, two of three from downtown, and three of four from the line. Kylee Wadsworth added 17, including five of six from three-point land. McKenna Prouty cleaned up the glass grabbing 10 boards.

Three Falcons would score in double figures with Trinity Watson leading the charge tallying 13 points. Caylin Kelly would add 12 and Brooklyn Brandreit would add 10.

Hamlin improves to 4-1 and travels to Sioux Valley on January 12th. Florence/Henry falls to 4-1 and travels to Wilmot on January 7th.

On the boy’s side, Florence/Henry would defeat Hamlin 72-45.

Three Falcons would score in double figures lead by Branden Brandriet with 19 points. Tate Bergh would add 17 and Mehki Kell would come off the bench to add 10.

Jackson Noem would lead the scoring for the Chargers with nine.

Hamlin falls to 1-4 and stays home to face Castlewood on January 7th. Florence/Henry evens their record to 2-2 and comes back home to Florence to face Wilmot on January 8th.
