Volleyball improves to 11-2 with in over Rough Riders

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow volleyball improved to 11-2 on the year with a 3-1 win over Sioux Falls Roosevelt Thursday night.  Set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 25-17, 25-20.

At the serving line, Maggie Heesch would go 16 of 20 with five aces, Anna Johnson 13 of 14 with two aces, and Jadyn Hofteizer 18 of 21 with one ace.  On the attack, Heesch would tally 18 kills and Emerson Smith and Sierra Stanton each with eight. Defensively, Hofteizer would contribute 24 digs, Olivia Corey with 19 and Abby Bramer with nine.

The lower levels would struggle with JV (16-25, 14-25), Sophomores (11-25, 7-25), Freshman A (20-25, 18-25), and Freshman B (20-25, 10-25) would fall to the Rough Riders.

Watertown travels to Huron Tuesday, October 20th.  Todd Enderson will have the first serve at 7 p.m. on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net.
