VOLLEYBALL: Arrows fall to Roughriders in five sets

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown volleyball took Sioux Falls Roosevelt to five sets on Friday night. The Arrows would fall to Roosevelt 3-2. Set scores of 22-25, 25-12, 20-25, 25-13, 15-13.

On the attack, Kendall Paulson would lead the Arrows with 14 kills, Emily Tisher with eight, Emma Koch seven, and Eve Hauger six. Watertown would have eight aces on the night, Karli Hanten with four, Kayla Volken two, Jaclyn Lloyd and Kock each with one.

Defensively, Maddie Rohde had 27 digs, Holken 18, Paulson 17, and Hanten 12. Koch added six blocks, two solo.

It was a clean sweep for the lower levels with JV (25-16, 16-25, 15-10), Sophomores (25-21, 25-20), Freshman A (25-19, 25-20), and Freshman B (25-12, 25-18) all coming away victorious against the Roughriders.
