VFW says play ball this summer

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Department of South Dakota VFW Baseball Executive Committee has elected to hold the 2020 SD VFW State Baseball Tournaments in 2020.

In a release, the VFW states,  “Committees/communities will never be able to eliminate Covid-19 virus risk. However, if everyone follows the return to Safe Play guidelines/recommendations, we as a baseball community, will help reduce the risk.”

Webster is scheduled to host the 14U state tourney July 17-19 and Bryant is set to host the 19U state tournament August 7-9th.
