VFW 14U Tourneys to be held this weekend

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The South Dakota VFW 14U tournaments will be played at multiple sites across the state this weekend.

The Class A 14U Tournament will be held in Chamberlain July 17th through the 19th with Tea, West Central, Madison White, Madison Gold, Elk Point-Jefferson, Dell Rapids and the host Chamberlain taking part.

The Class B 14 Tournament will be held at Bob Wiley Field in Webster July 17th through the 19th.  Castlewood vs Groton will lead off the day Friday at 11 a.m., followed by Canova vs Parker at 2 p.m.  The night session will begin at 5 p.m. with Mount Vernon/Plankinton vs Parker and the 8 p.m. game will feature the host Webster vs the FH Hitmen.
