Veterans begin moving into new Minnesota Veterans Home in Montevideo

MONTEVIDEO, Minn.–Monday was move-in day at the new Minnesota Veterans Home in Montevideo.
Administrator Ashley Bormann says residents in the area have been advocating for about 16 years for this skilled nursing facility,
She says ten veterans will be moved in by the end of the week and there’s capacity for 72 residents.
Bormann says the Montevideo Veterans Home is made up of four sections with space for 18 residents each. There’s also a large community room where families and the public can interact with the residents.
