WATERTOWN, S.D.—The former Shopko property in Watertown has officially changed hands….

That’s local developer Brian Brandriet, who talked with KWAT News about the redevelopment of the property.

He tells us what’s next….

He says there’s plenty of interest from prospective tenants….

Brandriet says he has a general idea of the types of tenants he’d like to land….

Brandriet hopes to have leases signed so remodeling work on the building can begin this summer.
