UPDATE: Victim of deadly car fire identified; foul play not suspected

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Foul play is not suspected in the death of a man found in a burning car in Sioux Falls.
Firefighters were dispatched to the central portion of the city on December 23rd on a report of a vehicle fire.
When they got there, they found a car fully engulfed in flames, and when they got the fire out, they discovered the body.
The victim of the fire is identified as 38 year-old Chad Walter Taggatz of Sioux Falls.
An autopsy conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Paul, Minnesota helped determine there was no crime committed.
The cause of the vehicle fire remains under investigation.
