UPDATE: Slight chance of minor flooding on Big Sioux River, Lake Kampeska

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown and Codington County officials met again Monday to talk about spring flooding potential in the Big Sioux River basin.
According to a news release issued by the city, unless the forecast changes, there’s only a slight chance of minor flooding on the river and at Lake Kampeska.
Sandbags are being placed around lift stations at the lake as a precaution.
Free sandbags are available at the Codington County Sheriff’s Office, and sand to put in those bags is available at Sailboat Landing in the 200 block of North Lake Drive.
