UPDATE: Seven people found dead in Moorhead, Minnesota twin home identified; gas poisoning suspected cause

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – An online news service in Honduras says seven members of a Honduran family were found dead in their Moorhead home Saturday night.

Noticias Digital identified the victims as Belin Humberto Hernandez, Elder Noah Hernandez, Breylin Favela Hernandez, Mike Bradley Hernandez, Earliest Mariela, Marleny Door and Marbeli Hernandez. Police have not confirmed the identities.

The report says the victims – a mom, dad, three kids, an aunt and a niece – died from suspected “gas poisoning,” although an official cause of death has not been released.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help cover funeral expenses. More than $5,000 had been raised Monday morning. The goal is $50,000.

Moorhead police and firefighters responded to a 911 call at around 7:50 p.m. Saturday after the victims’ bodies were found by family members conducting a welfare check. A neighbor said they were last seen on Friday.
