UPDATE: SDHP identifies man killed in Hand County pickup crash

WESSINGTON, S.D.—The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Saint Lawrence man has been identified as the person killed when two pickups collided on U.S. Highway 14 in Hand County.
The man who died in the crash was 24 year-old Phillip Chandler Junior.
Chandler was driving three miles east of Wessington late Sunday night when his pickup slid on ice into the path of an oncoming pickup driven by 26 year-old Klay Min of Huron.
Chandler was ejected from his pickup and died at the scene.
Min sustained life-threatening injuries and is hospitalized in Sioux Falls.
