WATERTOWN, S.D.–By the end of this month, work should be wrapping up on a two-million dollar road repair project in Watertown.
A nine-block stretch of 10th Avenue North is being completely re-built between Prairie Lakes Hospital and Highway 81.
Watertown City Engineer Heath Von Eye talked with KWAT News about where the construction progress is at….
But overall work on the project continues…
This was a full re-build, from the road itself, to below-ground infrastructure…
The re-built stretch of 10th Avenue North will be a 38 feet wide concrete road with no on-street parking. There will be three 11 foot driving lanes, one in each direction, and a continuous center turn lane.
