UPDATE: Man killed in pickup crash south of Cavour identified
CAVOUR, S.D.—Authorities have now identified the man killed Friday in a pickup crash four miles south of Cavour.
The South Department of Public Safety say 37 year-old Benjamin Miner of Cavour was a passenger in a pickup that left an ice-covered road, rolled into a ditch and came to rest in standing water. He was killed at the scene.
The driver of the truck, 31 year-old Judd Fox of Bancroft was not injured.
A second passenger, 31 year-old Ben Miller of Bancroft, had minor injuries and was treated at the Huron Hospital.
