UPDATE: Man killed in Harding County motorcycle crash identified

BUFFALO, S.D.—The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a man killed in a motorcycle crash in Harding County.

Forty four year-old Eric Atkins of Pinehurst, Idaho was northbound on U.S. Highway 85 when he lost control of the bike and crashed.

It happened early Sunday morning, 17 miles north of Buffalo.

Atkins was thrown off the cycle, and later died of his injuries.
