UPDATE: Man dies of injuries sustained in Roberts County rollover

SISSETON, S.D.–The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a man has died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident in Roberts County last week.

Forty five year-old Robert Shepherd of Henderson, Nevada crashed off Roberts County Road 34, ten miles south of Sisseton last Monday.

The vehicle went into the ditch, struck a power pole and rolled.

Shepherd was the only occupant of the car. He was airlifted to a Fargo hospital where he died on Sunday.
