UPDATE: Brookings School District finds its next superintendent

BROOKINGS, S.D.–The Brookings School District has identified its next superintendent.
Following weekend interviews with a small group of finalists, the school board presented a job offer to Dell Rapids Superintendent Dr. Summer Schultz, who accepted. She’ll assume leadership of the Brookings School District in July.
Schultz replaces Klint Willert, who was forced to resign, or be fired. His employment in Brookings runs through the end of June.
