UPDATE: Authorities identify pedestrian struck and killed on Interstate 29

COLMAN, S.D.–A Rapid City woman has been identified as the person struck and killed while walking on Interstate 29 last weekend.
Thirty four year-old Hevin Mathis was walking in the driving lane when she was struck by a southbound vehicle Saturday night.
It happened at mile marker 102, ten miles southeast of Colman in Moody County.
Mathis died at the scene.
The two occupants of the vehicle that struck her were not injured.
