UPDATE: Authorities identify body found at Minnesota River dam in Ortonville

ORTONVILLE, Minn.–Authorities are continuing to investigate the death of an Ortonville, Minnesota man wh was found dead last week at the Minnesota River dam at Ortonville.
He’s identified as 62 year-old Wayne Wellendorf of Ortonville.
His body was found Thursday. A preliminary manner of death by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office ruled it to be accidental, from exposure to cold temperatures.
The Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have seen or had contact with Wellendorf after November 11th to contact them or the Ortonville Police Department.
