UPDATE: $500 reward now being offered to help solve Tik Tok stunt in Volga

UPDATE: The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department announced Monday afternoon a $500 reward is being offered by a private individual for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
BROOKINGS, S.D.–The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office took a report over the weekend of a Tik Tok challenge occurring within the city of Volga.
Multiple residents reported Saturday morning finding lug nuts had either been loosened or removed from their vehicles while parked in their driveways.
The action is believed to be part of a Tik Tok challenge which includes juveniles taking videos of the challenge and posting it to the Tik Tok app.
The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to check their private security systems and Tik Tok for any information related to these incidents.
