Unusual crash on I-29 sends out Watertown Fire Rescue

WATERTOWN, S.D.–An unusual accident call had Watertown Fire Rescue on the move Tuesday when an SUV that was southbound on Interstate 29 collided with a turkey that had smashed into its windshield.
It happened four miles south of Watertown.
The collision caused the windshield to be smashed out, sending glass into the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
One person was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with minor injuries.
