Two quarterfinal games tonight on Watertown Radio Sports

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Two 9AA quarterfinal matchups highlight the games tonight on Watertown Radio Sports.
Game one on New Country KS93 will feature the Hamlin Chargers playing host to the Lemmon/McIntosh Cowboys.
Lemmon/McIntosh comes into Thursday night with an 8-1 record after an 80-8 drubbing of Rapid City Christian in the 9AA opening round. The Cowboys are highlighted by junior quarterback Cody Thompson who is closing in on 2,000 yards passing this season. Cowboy coach Josh Anderson says the key to their success this season is spreading the ball around:
Hamlin comes into Thursday night after a 48-34 1st round victory vs Dakota Hills last week. A game that was tied at 34 going into the 4th quarter. The Chargers are still without quarterback Nash Grantham and running back Jackson Noem is again a game time decision. Despite losing two key cogs in the offense, Charger Coach Jeff Sheehan says they have adapted:

Game two of the night will feature the Deuel Cardinals playing host to the Baltic Bulldogs in the 9AA quarterfinals. Deuel comes into Thursday night after a 45-0 opening round win vs Florence/Henry. Baltic upset Parker last week in the opening round with a 26-20 win. Its Deuel vs Baltic at 7 p.m. on 104.3 KKSD with Brad DeBeer on the call.
