Two people dead in weekend crash in Sioux Falls

IOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Sioux Falls police are investigating the cause of a fatal weekend crash that left two dead and an unknow number of others injured.
Officers responded to the crash scene about 11:40 p.m. Saturday.
They found two vehicles had collided at an intersection in Sioux Falls.
Officials say two people in one of the vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
Passengers from both vehicles were also taken to area hospitals for severe injuries, although it’s unclear how many people were hurt and their current conditions.
Authorities say speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
