Two men arrested in drug bust in Codington County

WATERTOWN, S.D.—A traffic stop led to a drug bust in Codington County.

Sheriff Brad Howell says it happened at 1:42 this morning near mile marker 177 on Interstate 29.

The deputy found reason to believe there were illegal drugs in the vehicle.

A search resulted in finding a half pound of marijuana, THC wax and a firearm that were seized.

The vehicle was driven by 34 year-old Jonathan Guy of Britton. He and a passenger, 41 year-old Travis Wiedmeier of Britton, were both arrested on drug charges.
