Two injured in Watertown rollover crash

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a single vehicle rollover accident near the intersection of 33rd Street Northwest and 3rd Avenue around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The vehicle involved in the accident was heading northbound on 33rd Street when the 16 year-old female driver lost control, went into the ditch and rolled, ejecting both occupants.
One person was temporarily pinned under the vehicle, but with the assistance of Fire Rescue personnel and Codington County Deputies, that patient was able to be freed without the use of extrication equipment.
The driver and a 15 year-old female passenger were transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital with non- life threatening injuries. Their names were not released.
