WATERTOWN, S.D.–Another former member of the Watertown City Council has announced he’s running for the at-large seat on the council in the June 15th elections.

Randy Tupper previously served one term on the council before losing a re-election bid to Josh Weyh in a runoff election.

Tupper says finding workers is the biggest issue facing Watertown. There are open jobs, but nobody to fill them…

Earlier this week, former Councilman Mike Danforth announced he too would be running for the at-large seat.

Watertown’s City Council will be reduced from 10 members to six this summer, when Watertown transitions to a city manager-led form of government that will include a part-time mayor.
