Truck driver dies after crashing on SD Highway 10

LEOLA, S.D.–A truck driver has died of injuries sustained when he crashed his rig in McPherson County.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened early Monday morning on Highway 10, fourteen miles west of Leola.

The 2010 Kenworth semi truck and trailer were eastbound, left the highway and rolled.

The 38 year-old driver was taken to an Aberdeen hospital where he later died of his injuries.

His name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

The Highway Patrol says he was wearing a seat belt.
