WASHINGTON, D.C.–South Dakota U.S. Senator John Thune took a few minutes on the Senate floor Thursday to recognize a longtime radio broadcaster from Yankton who has stepped into retirement.

Oster began his radio career in Aberdeen before making the move to Yankton.
Among his many duties over the years was providing color commentary for SDSU Jackrabbit football broadcasts.
