Three men killed in crash with semi on South Dakota’s Interstate 90

STURGIS, S.D.—Three men have died when the car they were in rear-ended a semi on Interstate 90.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened Tuesday afternoon, five miles west of Sturgis.

The men, ages 21, 22 and 55, were eastbound on I-90 in a Maserati Ghibli when they rear-ended the 2016 Freightliner semi.

The 77 year-old man driving the semi and a 74 year-old female passenger were not injured.

The Highway Patrol says all three men killed were wearing seat belts.

No names have been released.
