Three injured in head-on crash on Highway 212 west of Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D. Three people were taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital following a head-on collision west of Watertown Thursday night.

It happened just before 9:00 p.m. on Highway 212, seven miles west of Watertown.

A car driven by 34 year-old Joshua Waldorf of Clark was westbound, drifted into the oncoming lane, and collided head-on with a car driven by 24 year-old Samantha Blum of Watertown.

Both drivers sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries.

A 25 year-old man passenger in Blum’s vehicle sustained unknown injuries.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
