Three fatal crashes under investigation in South Dakota

(UNDATED)–Its been a deadly past few days on South Dakota’s highways.

A 39 year-old woman was killed Friday night when two pickups collided at a Highway 32 intersection five miles west of Flandreau.

Four others were injured in that crash. No names have been released yet.

A 29 year-old woman was killed when the ambulance she was a passenger in collided with a semi a mile south of Jefferson on Interstate 29.

The ambulance driver lost control and veered into the opposite lane of traffic where it clipped the back end of a semi trailer.

The woman was dead at the scene. The accident shut down a portion of the Interstate highway for about eight hours.

And a 43 year-old motorcyclist is dead after rear-ending a pickup Saturday night, three miles west of Hartford. His name has not been released.
