The Chargers record breaking season comes to a close

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Hamlin Chargers girls basketball squad finished off their regular season with a 20-2 record which included two playoff wins over Clark/Willow Lake and Mt. Vernon/Plankinton. The Chargers were scheduled to face region foe Flandreau in the opening round of the Girls State A Basketball Tournament before the COVID-19 pandemic wiped out the high school season.

For the Chargers it was a record breaking season, Hamlin Charger Coach Tim Koisti:

Hamlin will lose four seniors to graduation; Logan Keszler, Taryn Opdahl, Brynn Alfson and Cami Stevenson. Coach Koisti talks about the girls finding out their season has been officially cancelled:
