TENNIS: Arrows come away with two wins at Yankton Quad

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. ( — Watertown Arrow Girls Tennis would come away with two victories at the Yankton Quad on Saturday.

The Arrows would claim victory over St. Thomas More in match one of the day, 8-1.  Josie Heyn, Jaida Young, Leyla Meester, Grace Ortmeier, and Faith Berg claimed singles victory while the teams of Zink/Heyn and Young/Ortmeier would claim doubles victories.  Watertown would come away with a hard-fought victory in match two over the host Yankton, 5-4. Singles victories would go to Meester, Ortmeier, and Berg while doubles wins would go to Young/Ortmeier and Meester/Sophia Nichols.

Watertown (4-1) heads to McKennan Park in Sioux Falls on Monday for the O’Gorman Invite.
