Ten year-old boy hit by car in Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown police say a 10 year-old boy sustained non life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon when he was struck by a car.
Police Corporal Scott Price says it happened a litte before four p.m. in the 1100 block of 11th Street Northeast.
A southbound car driven by a 15 year-old Watertown girl struck the boy that ran into the street. He was hit by one of the side view mirrors on the car.
The boy was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital.
Price says based on their investigation, the girl driving the car was not distracted and did not violate any traffic laws at the time of the incident.
