Teenage passenger killed in pickup crash near Tea

TEA, S.D. One person was killed Saturday night in a single vehicle rollover accident south of Tea, South Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says a pickup was traveling on a road a mile south of Tea when it left the road and rolled.

One of the two passengers in the pickup, a 19 year-old man, was not buckled up. He was ejected from the truck and died at the scene.

The 19 year-old male driver and an 18 year-old male passenger both sustained minor injuries.

No names have been released.

Charges are pending against the driver.
