Teenage boy killed in crash in North Dakota’s Sargent County

COGSWELL, N.D. – A 16-year old boy was killed in a crash on a Sargent County road north of Cogswell, North Dakota around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the victim’s vehicle struck a deer on the roadway. The driver lost control, and rolled multiple times in a ditch, ending up in a stubble field and the teen was ejected. He was not wearing a seatbelt

The boy’s name and hometown have not been released.
