Target raising minimum wage for its employees to $15 an hour

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.–Minneapolis-based Target Corporation is raising the minimum wage for its employees to $15 an hour—effective July 5th.
Target’s previous minimum starting wage was $13 an hour.
About 250,000 employees of the retailer will see increased pay.
Additionally, Target announced it will offer a $200 one-time bonus for “frontline store and distribution center hourly workers for their efforts throughout the coronavirus pandemic.”
The bonus will be paid at the end of July.
