Spiering & Gronau lead Arrows on All State Fast Pitch Team
WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Two Watertown Arrows have made the 2019 South Dakota Class A Fast Pitch All State first team.
Maddi Spiering, a senior catcher and designated player, averaged .415 at the plate this season with eight doubles, five home-runs, 22 runs and 42 RBI’s.
Brooklyn Gronau, a freshman pitcher and catcher, average .396 at the plate this past season with ten doubles, one triple, three home-runs, 22 runs and 17 RBI’s. Gronau had seven wins as a pitcher, with a 3.78 ERA and 70 strikeouts.
Honorable mentions for the Arrows included senior, center and left fielder, Desi Nelson and sophomore, third baseman, Macee Osthus.
