South downs north in All-Star Game
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) –The South All-Stars downed the North All-Stars 3-2 in the 2019 South Dakota All-Star Volleyball match held at the Sanford Pentagon on Sunday. Set scores of 16-25, 25-16, 25-23, 14-25, 15-13.
Representing the Arrows on the north squad was Megan Heggelund who tally seven kills, Alexx Bayles would account for 20 assists and Sophie Tietz would total six blocks.
Other local north team notes: Madalyn Groft of Northwestern would tally 19 assists, Havyn Heinz of Huron would lead the way serving with 3 aces and Johanna Miller would account for four blocks.
